ACSS
ACSS has been sold after attracting strong buyer interest, with 26 meetings and 10 offers secured before terms were agreed with repeat buyer Wake Flow. The sale process was led by Sara Thomasson, Knightsbridge Associate Director.
Richard Clarke and Sarah Adams founded ACSS in 2017, developing its Aquarius software specifically for the fish and seafood processing industry. The system covers the processing cycle from goods arriving and stock management through to sales orders, factory packing and despatch.
ACSS also supplies the hardware used alongside Aquarius, including packing stations, scanners and touchscreen computers. This means customers can source much of the software and equipment they need from the same provider.
A number of customer relationships pre-date ACSS itself, having continued from Richard and Sarah’s previous business. Several have lasted for more than a decade, with the longest recorded relationship stretching back 17 years.
The company works with seafood processors, wholesalers, merchants, importers and exporters across the UK, with customers ranging from southern England to Scotland.
Richard and Sarah were selling ACSS to retire after nearly a decade running the company. The Knightsbridge team wishes them every success for the future and Wake Flow continued success with ACSS.
