Agricom Commercial Mechanics provides specialist mobile and workshop-based mechanical services for commercial vehicles and plant machinery across West Sussex and the surrounding counties.
Founded in 2006 by husband-and-wife team Yvette and Patrick Parkes, the business has developed into a well-regarded operator within its market, known for its reliability, responsive service and strong customer relationships. With retirement on the horizon, they took the decision to explore a sale, with a focus on securing the right next owner for the business.
The sale process, led by Associate Director Sara Thomasson and assisted by Regional Commercial Director Joe Bull, generated strong interest from the market and resulted in a number of meetings with prospective acquirers.
A buyer was ultimately identified who recognised both the quality of the operation and the strength of its established client base: P. Leek Commercial Repairs, a family-run commercial vehicle specialist based in Telford, Shropshire and established by Paul Leek in 1991.
The acquisition supports the buyer’s continued expansion, strengthening its service offering and extending its reach within the sector. For Agricom, the transaction ensures continuity for its customers while placing the business within an experienced operator with the capability to support its next phase of development.
Yvette and Patrick now step away from the business following many years of ownership, with the company transitioning into its next chapter under new stewardship.
