A highly significant deal has been completed for Bright Nails, the Bedfordshire-based distributor of specialist fixings and roofline accessories. Headquartered in Leighton Buzzard, the business has been acquired for a highly significant fee following strong engagement throughout the sales process.

Established in 1999, Bright Nails built a national customer base supplying plastic headed nails, pins and associated construction products. Operating from established warehouse facilities, the company developed long-standing trade relationships and a stable position within the building and roofing supply chain.

Kelvin and Janice Willis brought the business to market as part of their retirement plans, placing importance on continuity and securing the right long-term custodian. Demand proved robust, progressing through 25 meetings and 11 formal offers before a preferred buyer was selected.

The transaction was led by Associate Director Sara Thomasson, with National Sales Director Joe Bull representing the sale. The business was acquired by Elliot Glossop through Atrio Holdings, based in Sheffield, a company formed in 2025 to pursue strategic acquisitions and unlock growth opportunities.

Bright Nails marks one of Atrio Holdings’ first acquisitions, providing a platform for expansion within the construction materials sector. Both parties were pleased with the outcome, with the sellers achieving a strong exit and the buyer securing an established and scalable trading operation.

Knightsbridge wishes Kelvin and Janice a rewarding retirement and every success to Elliot as he leads Bright Nails into its next phase under Atrio Holdings.
