Knightsbridge supported the sale of Cleaning Expectations to Shalaw and Sons Investment Ltd, following a competitive process that generated 25 meetings and seven offers.
Based in Batley, West Yorkshire, Cleaning Expectations is a construction-led commercial cleaning company serving clients across the construction, property, retail and industrial sectors.
Founded in 2012, the business has built its reputation around reliable service, strong health and safety standards and long-standing customer relationships.
Its services include new-build cleaning, show home cleaning, retail premises cleaning, industrial cleaning, window cleaning, carpet cleaning and specialist work such as acid brick cleaning.
The company’s appeal was supported by active clients across more than 40 sites, many described as blue-chip, alongside referral-led relationships, CHAS and SMAS accreditations and an experienced operational team of supervisors and cleaners.
Shalaw and Sons Investment acquired the business with plans to continue operating and developing it, gaining a healthy trading company with strong customer relationships and scope for further growth.
Operations Manager Sara Manville handled the transaction through to completion, with Neil Smith representing the opportunity.
The sale allows the sellers to spend more time with family, while placing Cleaning Expectations with a buyer looking to continue the business and develop its established client relationships.
