Completed sale
Complete Merchandise

Terms were agreed within six weeks of Complete Merchandise coming to market, with the sale completing less than five months after launch. The buyer, Complete Service Management, had previously acquired a print business through Knightsbridge.
Established in 2010, Complete Merchandise supplies branded promotional products to organisations across the UK. Its online catalogue features almost 11,000 items, with bespoke products also sourced for customers with more specific requirements.
The company has built a substantial B2B customer base, with high levels of repeat business and several relationships stretching back more than a decade. It also works with a wide network of UK and international trade suppliers, giving customers access to products across a broad range of budgets and requirements.
Complete Merchandise does not rely on its own manufacturing or stockholding, with products sourced through suppliers and much of the operation managed digitally. Its cloud-based systems also allow the day-to-day running of the company to continue without significant reliance on the shareholders.
The acquisition adds Complete Merchandise to Complete Service Management’s existing merchandise business, along with its established customer base and supplier network.
Associate Director Leanne Boulding, who led the transaction, said: “It was a swift process, with terms agreed within six weeks of going live. We had worked with the buyer before on a print business acquisition, which helped the deal progress smoothly.”
The sale allows the shareholders to focus on their other business interests, with Complete Merchandise now part of an existing merchandise operation.
