CorderCare first achieved a ‘Good’ CQC rating in 2013 and has retained that rating through subsequent inspections. Over the same period, the domiciliary care provider has built long-standing relationships with clients and local authorities across Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.
Established in 2012 by Oliver and Joanne Corder, the company provides personal, domestic and social care to adults who need support to remain independent in their own homes. Its wider services include medication support, outings and respite for carers and families.
CorderCare is supported by an experienced team. Members of its management team have been with the company for seven and eight years, while the wider care team has maintained low staff turnover and a long-serving core of carers.
The company also has established relationships with local authorities, including approved framework arrangements with Norfolk and Cambridgeshire councils. Much of its work comes through word-of-mouth referrals, while demand from both private clients and local authorities has exceeded existing capacity.
The sale attracted 27 meetings and six offers, with Associate Director Sara Thomasson working with Oliver and Joanne before terms were agreed with Delore Care, an existing home-care provider.
After more than a decade building CorderCare, Oliver and Joanne have sold the company to another operator already working in domiciliary care, with its experienced team and established council relationships remaining in place.
