Elite Surveyors
Knightsbridge is pleased to announce the successful sale of Elite Surveyors, a Northamptonshire-based provider of surveying, valuation and energy assessment services, to Dubai-based CNC Property Valuations. The transaction completed in less than six months from going live on the market.
One of the more notable aspects of the sale was how the buyer was identified. The successful purchaser approached the opportunity directly through Knightsbridge’s marketing process rather than through a targeted buyer search, progressing discussions through to a successful completion.
The transaction also attracted interest from beyond the UK market. While Elite Surveyors operates from Northamptonshire, the successful acquirer is based in Dubai and has completed the acquisition as part of its strategy to broaden its portfolio.
Established in 2007, Elite Surveyors built a strong reputation for providing RICS home surveys, residential property valuations and energy performance certificates across the Midlands. Over nearly two decades, the business developed a loyal and diverse client base spanning private homeowners, property professionals, local authorities and commercial clients.
Much of the company’s work came through repeat business, referrals and website enquiries, reflecting the reputation it had built over many years. The opportunity attracted 15 signed non-disclosure agreements, resulting in two buyer meetings and two offers before terms were agreed.
The business was originally brought to market by Deal Executive Peter Taberner to support the shareholder’s retirement plans. However, changing personal circumstances during the process increased the importance of securing a successful outcome within a suitable timeframe.
Knightsbridge worked closely with both parties throughout the transaction, helping guide the sale through to completion. The acquisition enables CNC Property Valuations to broaden its portfolio, while providing the shareholder of Elite Surveyors with a successful exit after nearly 20 years of ownership.
