GAMTA

Knightsbridge supported the sale of Triple Threat Training Limited, trading as GAMTA, to The Unibridge Group, achieving a significant fee and meeting the vendor’s expectations on value and structure.

The transaction reached completion within five months of going to market, placing the Glasgow musical theatre conservatoire with an education-focused buyer.

Founded in 1994 by Shaaron Graham, GAMTA was created to give Scottish performers a credible alternative to London-based musical theatre training. Across three decades, it has grown into a distinctive name in performing arts education.

GAMTA delivers professional training through GPRO and junior training through G Juniors. It is an SQA Approved Centre, with academic partnerships supporting musical theatre pathways up to BA (Hons) level.

Its appeal to buyers was strengthened by recognised qualifications, a strong industry reputation and graduate success across theatre, film and television, including BAFTA and Olivier award-winning performers.

The business had also secured Tier 4 sponsorship following an Education Scotland inspection, creating further scope to attract international students and develop recruitment beyond the UK.

Knightsbridge positioned GAMTA around its 30-year reputation, approved courses, graduate outcomes, forward order book and international growth potential. The process generated more than 50 interested parties and two offers.

Commercial Executive Helen Bainbridge handled the transaction through to completion, with Regional Commercial Director Martin Baars representing the opportunity.

Manchester-based The Unibridge Group works across education, with activity spanning higher education, business management, music, arts and professional training.

That made the acquisition a strong fit for a specialist performing arts training provider with established courses, industry links and scope for further growth.

For Shaaron, the sale supports her move into semi-retirement after building GAMTA into a distinctive musical theatre training brand over more than 30 years.

The Knightsbridge team wishes Shaaron every success for the future, and every success to The Unibridge Group as it takes GAMTA forward.
