Completed just seven months after going to market, HealthSpace Studios has been acquired by MTL Investments, marking a swift and well-aligned outcome for the shareholders.
Founded and operated by Claire and Robert Symes, the business has grown into a recognised multidisciplinary health and wellbeing clinic based in Bishop’s Waltham, Southampton. Since opening in 2015, it has established a strong local presence, supported by high levels of client retention and a consistently expanding customer base.
Bringing together a wide range of complementary services, the clinic combines direct treatment income with a room rental model for qualified practitioners. This approach enables services spanning physiotherapy, sports therapy, counselling, aesthetics and women’s health to be delivered within a single, well-integrated setting.
Operating from a well-presented, purpose-built facility comprising six treatment rooms, the business provides an accessible and professional environment for both clients and practitioners, underpinning its reputation within the wider Hampshire healthcare sector.
Represented by Regional Commercial Manager Joe Bull, with Operations Manager Leanne Boulding supporting throughout, the process moved efficiently from launch through to completion, identifying a buyer aligned with the business and its future direction.
The acquisition provides a strong platform for continued development under new ownership, building on the clinic’s established reputation, loyal client base and flexible operating model.
