Henley Podiatry

Henley Podiatry has been acquired by Market Street Clinic, bringing together two podiatry providers with closely related services and a shared focus on patient care.

The deal also delivered one of the seller’s key priorities, with the agreed structure providing the majority of funds upfront.

Founded in 2018 and based in Henley-on-Thames, Henley Podiatry has built its reputation around identifying the cause of foot and lower-limb issues before creating bespoke plans for patients. Its approach is focused on helping people understand their pain, regain confidence and return to the activities they enjoy.

The clinic provides general and specialist podiatry services, supported by advanced capabilities including 3D gait and running analysis, Swift microwave therapy, shockwave therapy, custom orthotics and nail surgery. This gave buyers a clinic with regular patient demand, specialist services and a clear approach to personalised care.

Henley Podiatry’s local reputation was another important part of the opportunity. The clinic benefits from positive client feedback, word-of-mouth referrals, a five-star Google rating and referral networks with local GPs, specialist clinics, gyms and stores.

The business also offered continuity beyond the seller’s involvement. Supported by a clinical lead podiatrist, specialist podiatrists and administrative support, Henley Podiatry had an experienced team in place, with low staff turnover helping retain in-house expertise and consistency of care.

Knightsbridge positioned the opportunity around Henley Podiatry’s reputation, bespoke patient plans, referral network, established team, modern service capability and scope for further growth.

The process generated multiple offers, with Deal Executive Tom Lowe handling the transaction through to completion.

The buyer, Market Street Clinic, is a Cornwall-based podiatry centre led by Pallavi Saraogi. Established in 1992, the clinic provides a range of complementary services, including routine footcare, nail surgery, Swift verruca treatment, biomechanical assessment, orthotics and diabetes footcare.

This alignment made the acquisition a natural step for a buyer looking to expand. Market Street Clinic gains an established Oxfordshire clinic with a specialist service offering, clinical team, patient base and local reputation, while Henley Podiatry moves forward under specialist podiatry ownership.

Reflecting on the transaction, Tom said: “The deal went well and all parties acted professionally, allowing my client to spend more time with her family post-sale.”

For Knightsbridge, the sale highlights the value of finding a buyer with direct sector experience, while helping deliver a deal structure that matched the seller’s priorities.

The Knightsbridge team wishes Jessica Werner the very best for the future, and Market Street Clinic every success as it takes Henley Podiatry forward.
