Restless Pencil (RP) specialises in graphic design, print and production solutions. The Surrey-based business produces yearbooks, brochures, folders, display materials and all kinds of signage.
After gaining 26 years’ industry experience, Neale Winter established the organisation in 2016. The decision to offer RP for sale was based on facilitating growth under the impetus of new ownership.
Sara Thomasson, Knightsbridge Associate Director, led the research strategy which drew the interest of 37 interested applicants. With the help of National Sales Director Joe Bull, 9 meetings were conducted.
In the end, two offers were tabled, with the ultimately successful bid coming from Faulkner Media Solutions – a similar business based in Northamptonshire that was established in 2013 by its namesake, Andrew Faulkner.
