Induserv

Knightsbridge supported the sale of Induserv Ltd, helping owner James Saunders move into retirement while giving a young first-time buyer a route into the grounds maintenance sector.

Negotiation played an important role in the process, with the buyer increasing his offer before both parties reached an agreement.

Established in 2005 and based in Suffolk, Induserv provides grounds maintenance services across the East of England. Its work covers general maintenance, landscaping and related services for private and commercial clients.

The business had built its reputation through long-standing client relationships and organic growth, without relying heavily on active marketing. Many clients had used Induserv’s services for several years, with some relationships extending beyond 17 years.

Continuity was also important. The company’s experienced staff were expected to remain with the business, while James agreed to work with the new owner for the first six months following completion.

The buyer, Cambridgeshire-based Alfie Tate, was acquiring his first business in the sector. Induserv offered him an established operation with regional relationships, staff support and a practical handover from the outgoing owner.

Deal Executive Tom Lowe handled the transaction through to completion, helping bring together a retiring owner and a buyer taking his first step into business ownership.

The Knightsbridge team wishes James every happiness in retirement, and every success to Alfie as he takes Induserv forward.
