After nearly three decades of trading, Logoxpres Limited has transitioned to new ownership, marking the next chapter for the Stirling-based schoolwear and embroidery supplier. The business has long supported schools and families across the region with branded uniforms, sportswear and personalised garments.
Established in 1996, Logoxpres developed from a local embroidery specialist into a fully integrated supplier operating from 7,500 sq ft premises. Its combined retail, production and warehousing capabilities have enabled the company to maintain consistent service standards while building lasting relationships with more than 40 schools.
Managing Director Frances Scanlan and co-shareholder Wilson Jamieson brought the company to market to facilitate retirement plans. Their objective throughout the process was to secure continuity for customers and staff while positioning the business for sustainable future growth.
The transaction was led by Operations Manager Sara Manville and represented by Regional Commercial Director Chris Darroux. Both parties were aligned in their ambitions, resulting in a smooth completion that reflected shared confidence in the business’s long-term potential.
Logoxpres has been acquired by Gilmour Sports, based in Paisley, a group established in 2000 and owned by Colin Hill. Through its associated platform Teamwear Made Easy, Gilmour provides customised, in-house embroidered and printed sportswear to schools and clubs.
The acquisition expands the group’s operational footprint and strengthens its position within the schoolwear and teamwear sector. Knightsbridge wishes Frances and Wilson every success in retirement and the very best to Colin as he develops the business under new ownership.
