NPC Commercials

A well-established automotive repair and haulage business based in Wrexham, NPC Commercials, has progressed to a new chapter following a successful sale led by Knightsbridge Operations Manager Leanne Boulding.

Founded in 2012, the independent garage provides automotive repairs, servicing and maintenance alongside general and tipper haulage services. The business has grown steadily since inception, establishing a strong reputation supported by an experienced workforce and long-standing customer relationships.

Serving customers across sectors including haulage, construction and engineering, the company benefits from a high level of repeat business, with around 90% of revenue generated from existing clients – key value drivers that the Knightsbridge team highlighted to the interested parties it gathered.

Having developed the business over a number of years, the shareholders brought NPC Commercials to market to facilitate their retirement. The opportunity generated strong interest from the market, ultimately resulting in a choice of offers and a significant outcome for the shareholders.

The business was ultimately acquired by NPC Billington, a newly formed company led by Gary and Georgi Billington. Plans for the business include expanding the garage, upgrading workshop facilities, investing in technology, increasing the haulage fleet and recruiting additional staff to support future growth.

Reflecting on the transaction, Nick said:

“It was a great pleasure to do business with Gary and his great team. Their acquisition of NPC Commercials will help the company grow, and the future for the business and all the staff is very exciting.”

Commenting on the acquisition, Georgi added:

“NPC Commercials is a successful, well-run business which ticked all the boxes for us. This acquisition aligns perfectly with our vision, with scope to expand and enhance our product and service offerings while also improving the customer experience.”

Following completion, the shareholders have stepped away from the business as part of their retirement plans. The Knightsbridge team wishes them all the best and looks forward to seeing NPC Commercials continue to develop under its new ownership.
