Peachy Goat is a popular Italian plant-based bar and restaurant located in Herne Hill, South East London. Founded in 2020 by Oliver and Luca Sechi, the business quickly built a strong local following through its distinctive offering and welcoming atmosphere.
Specialising in entirely plant-based Italian cuisine, the restaurant offers brunch and dinner menus, alongside small plates and desserts, with gluten-free options available. Its seasonal menu is regularly updated, encouraging repeat visits, while its garden seating provides a setting that differentiates it from other local venues.
As one of the only restaurants in the area offering a fully plant-based menu with gluten-free options, Peachy Goat has attracted a loyal customer base, with many returning on a weekly basis. This consistent demand has been supported by high-quality dishes and strong levels of service.
The shareholders took the decision to offer the business for sale to facilitate alternative personal ventures. The process was represented by Regional Commercial Director Joe Bull and led by Associate Director Sara Manville, generating interest and resulting in a successful transaction.
Following completion, the business announced its closure, signing off with the message:
“Though we’ve sold our final Camembert bites, the memories we’ve shared will remain.”
