Completed sale
Perfectly Unique Occasions

After building a wedding décor business known for bespoke venue styling and highly visual client appointments, the owner of Perfectly Unique Occasions has completed the sale of the company and moved into retirement.
Operating since 2015 and based in Telford, Shropshire, Perfectly Unique Occasions provides wedding and event décor across the Midlands. The business grew from a family idea into a well-regarded provider of luxury venue dressing, shaped around creative presentation, quality décor and a personal approach to each client’s plans.
Its origins gave the company a distinctive place in the market. Created by a mother-and-daughter team after planning two family weddings in the same year, Perfectly Unique Occasions was developed to offer couples wedding hire items that felt “just that little bit different”. That approach has remained central to the business, with many products handmade, restored or designed by the company or its suppliers.
A key part of the client experience is the ability to view décor in person, discuss themes and colour schemes, and design table settings during showroom appointments. This gives couples a clear sense of how their venue could look before making a booking, while allowing the business to tailor arrangements around each wedding.
The company offers a broad range of luxury décor items, including statement arches, blossom trees, floral centrepieces, flower walls, light-up love letters and neon signs. Supported by its showroom and preparation space, this collection has helped Perfectly Unique Occasions create highly personalised settings for weddings and events.
Perfectly Unique Occasions has built a strong reputation with couples and venues alike. It holds a 4.9-star Google rating, has a strong social media presence and benefits from word-of-mouth referrals. The business has also acted as a recommended supplier for a number of well-known wedding venues across Shropshire and Staffordshire, while its work has been featured in Hitched.
Demand for its services was another important part of the opportunity. Perfectly Unique Occasions typically works on 60 to 100 weddings per year and had already begun accepting bookings up to 2027. With the business limiting its workload and geographical radius, there was clear scope for a new owner to build on its reputation by taking on more of the enquiries already being received.
The opportunity was represented by Regional Commercial Director Martin Baars, with the transaction handled by Operations Manager Sara Manville. During the sale process, Knightsbridge focused on the company’s strongest attributes: its visual client experience, curated décor range, reputation with couples and venues, bookings pipeline and growth potential.
A right-fit buyer was ultimately found who intends to continue trading the business. For the client, that continuity was important, allowing them to retire knowing the brand, style and customer experience they had developed would be carried forward.
The Knightsbridge team wishes our client a very happy retirement, and every success to the new owner as Perfectly Unique Occasions continues supporting weddings and events across the Midlands.
