Polestar Pilates UK, a globally recognised Pilates training and holistic therapies provider based in King’s Cross, London, has been successfully sold following a process shaped by unforeseen and challenging personal circumstances.
Part of the wider Polestar brand, established in the United States in 1992 and now operating across more than 50 countries — the UK branch holds the exclusive licence to deliver its training programmes domestically, positioning it as a unique operator within the UK wellness sector.
The studio delivers specialist Pilates teacher training, alongside private classes and a range of complementary therapies. The Polestar approach is widely regarded for its holistic methodology, training practitioners to assess individuals physically, psychologically and emotionally, and has contributed to the brand’s global reputation for producing highly regarded instructors.
The business has built a strong reputation within the industry, supported by consistent demand across its education and therapy services, a high volume of client engagement and strong organic reach — including prominent search visibility for key training-related terms.
The sale process was represented by Regional Commercial Director and managed by Associate Director Sara Manville, who also sourced the buyer. Reflecting on the transaction, Sara said:

“Given the circumstances, it was important to secure a buyer who not only understood the business, but could continue its standards and build on what has already been achieved.”
The business was acquired by Andreina Santaella, Chief Operating Officer of Polestar Pilates International, who brings extensive experience within the organisation, having progressed from studio-level roles through to a senior global leadership position.
Her deep understanding of the brand, its training philosophy and operational model made her a natural fit to take the business forward, ensuring continuity while supporting its next phase of development.
The transaction represents a considered outcome under difficult circumstances, aligning the business with an experienced operator already embedded within the Polestar network.
