That was how our client described Knightsbridge’s support following the sale of Teamwork Handling Limited, a long-established Yorkshire fulfilment specialist.
The transaction was led by Associate Director Sara Thomasson, who worked with the sellers as the opportunity generated 15 meetings and four offers.
Operating since 1983, Teamwork provides commercial fulfilment services from its base in Pocklington, including storage, packing, distribution, direct mail and response handling.
Teamwork’s fulfilment offer was also supported by appropriate accreditations and licences, allowing it to handle regulated products including pharmaceutical, organic and alcoholic items.
That gave the business relevance across sectors including medical, health and nutrition, supported by long-standing client relationships and repeat custom.
Teamwork had also grown largely through reputation, word-of-mouth referrals and web enquiries, rather than relying heavily on proactive marketing.
The buyer acquired the business with plans to expand existing business interests, while the sale allows the owners to move forward with retirement plans.
