The Tourism Marketing Agency

Demand for specialist expertise within the travel and tourism sector continues to grow, particularly among operators seeking to strengthen direct bookings and reduce reliance on third-party platforms. The Tourism Marketing Agency Limited has established itself within this niche, supporting travel businesses worldwide from its base in Glasgow, Scotland.

The business was first established in 2008, later narrowing its focus exclusively to tourism marketing before relaunching under The Tourism Marketing Agency brand in 2018. Founded and owned by Christopher Torres, the agency developed a subscription-based model built around long-term client relationships and a fully remote operating structure.

The decision to sell was made to enable Christopher to pursue alternative, unrelated business ventures. The sale process was structured to safeguard continuity for clients and staff, while identifying a buyer with relevant sector experience and the appetite to build on the agency’s foundations.

The transaction was led by Deal Executive Peter Taberner, with Regional Commercial Director Joe Bull representing the sale. Buyer engagement was notably strong, generating interest from 59 parties and progressing through 19 viewings, highlighting sustained demand for a specialist agency with recurring revenues and a scalable model.

The Tourism Marketing Agency was acquired by Pradyuman Halai, an entrepreneur based in Cardiff, Wales, who is already involved in other businesses operating within the same industry. The acquisition strengthens his existing position in the sector while providing a platform to further develop the agency’s reach and capabilities.

Knightsbridge wishes Christopher every success as he moves on to new ventures and the very best to Pradyuman as he takes The Tourism Marketing Agency into its next chapter of ownership.
