F.A.G Glasgow, trading as Total Cleaning, is a commercial cleaning business operating across Scotland, now set for its next phase following a successful sale.
Founded in 1993 and owned by Euan Oattes, the company provides a broad range of commercial, industrial and specialist cleaning services. Its offering includes commercial carpet cleaning, pressure washing, graffiti removal, cabin cleaning and end-of-tenancy services, supporting clients across a wide geographic area.
Over time, the business has established a strong presence within its market, underpinned by its ability to deliver a diverse range of services to both commercial and industrial customers. Euan took the decision to bring the business to market to facilitate his retirement, with the process led by Operations Manager Sara Manville.
The business was acquired by ServiceMaster, a UK franchisor supporting a portfolio of established service brands across cleaning, restoration, lawn care and bookkeeping. The group recruits, trains and supports franchise owners, providing the systems, structure and backing required to build scalable businesses.
Founded in 1929 in Chicago, USA, the business expanded into carpet cleaning in 1937, established one of the first franchise models in 1952, and introduced its services to the UK in 1959. Today, the group supports thousands of franchisees worldwide, delivering services to over a million homes and businesses.
