West Cornwall Storage And Distribution, founded in 1982 by Roger Cargeeg and Michael Richards, has been successfully sold following 22 meetings and seven offers — resulting in a significant deal being secured within a year of the business going to market.

As well as its appealing financial performance and established relationships with a large, long-standing client base, the business also presented clear opportunities for further growth. Additional investment in new units could significantly increase revenue capacity, while improvements to its digital infrastructure and online booking functionality offered further development potential.
Knightsbridge positioned these strengths through a targeted process, which ultimately resulted in nearby buyer Roskrow Holdings, founded by Scott and Sally Balsdon in 2017, securing the business. The acquisition represents a strategic addition with clear alignment to the buyer’s longer-term plans.
