Completed sale
Wright Clean

Knightsbridge facilitated the sale of Wright Clean within eight months of the business going live, after attracting substantial buyer interest, 60 enquiries and multiple offers.
Based in Plymouth, Devon, Wright Clean is a commercial contract cleaning company with roots dating back to 2003. The business provides cleaning services for organisations across the South West, supporting commercial clients with office cleaning, window cleaning, carpet cleaning and floor maintenance.
A key part of Wright Clean’s appeal was the structure behind its service. Each contract begins with a scope visit and detailed cleaning specification, setting out the areas to be covered, the tasks required, the expected standards and the frequency of work. Regular site audits and open communication with clients then help maintain service quality once contracts are underway.
Alongside its various accreditations, this approach has helped Wright Clean build a reliable commercial client base across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset. Its customers operate across sectors including industrial, retail, healthcare, food, leisure and education, giving the business a broad regional footprint.
The business was brought to market as its owner looked to step away from day-to-day involvement and place the company with a buyer able to support its continued growth. Represented by Regional Commercial Director Jay Bettle, the opportunity attracted strong engagement before Commercial Executive Helen Bainbridge handled the transaction through to completion.
Vapor Clean was identified through a Knightsbridge cross-match, connecting Wright Clean with a North Somerset-based cleaning company already active across domestic, commercial and contract cleaning. The fit was not just sector-based; both businesses place clear emphasis on structured contracts, site standards, direct cleaning teams and ongoing client communication.
The acquisition gives Vapor Clean an established South West contract cleaning business with regional client relationships, operating procedures and a reputation built around service quality. It also gives Wright Clean continuity under a buyer already familiar with the market and the expectations of commercial cleaning clients.
The transaction allows our client to step away from the business, while placing Wright Clean with an acquirer able to build on its contract base and reputation across the South West. The Knightsbridge team wishes both parties every success going forward.
