Sara Thomasson, Knightsbridge Operations Director, led the sale of a leading provider of business support and training programmes. The business was established in Blackburn in 2013, and has since “demonstrated considerable growth throughout its time in operation, with record turnover projected through contracts running until 2026 and beyond”, commented Sara.
Enterprise4All works in partnership with a large number of government organisations, private businesses, stakeholders and other support organisations. It was formed in Blackburn by businessman Rafik Adams, who “has offered for sale to facilitate his retirement plans”, Sara explained, adding “he has now put his other business on the market too”.
Enterprise secured a new million pound contract and is in the process of having the operations extended. It benefits strongly from two long-term public sector clients that provide reliable contracted revenue for the business. Recent turnover was over £400K, and this, as well as EBITDA, is projected to triple by the end of the 2024/25 financial year.
Simon Burns, Knightsbridge Regional Commercial Director, was the sales representative who led the buyer search and 23 interested parties initially emerged, which resulted in five meetings with the most compatible buyers. Of the five meetings conducted, four offers were submitted, and competition was created amongst the bidders.
In a win-win deal for all involved, the company was acquired by Safe Space Talent Limited, a government-approved training provider, specialising in digital training and apprenticeships. The London-based business was established in 1993, and currently owned by Malin Patel, who, in his own words, was “looking to expand regionally via acquisition”.
Safe Space was sourced as a cross match, having been identified by our hard-working Administrator, Anastasia Soldatos. Malin had shown interest in Knightsbridge-listed businesses last year and registered with us via our website. Sara describes both Malin and Rafik as “really lovely people to work with”, following a successful deal.
