Introducing our new Operations Manager

Knightsbridge is pleased to welcome Robert Gill to the business as its new Operations Manager.

Rob joins the team with more than 25 years’ experience across sales, business development and operations, having held leadership roles across the utilities, retail and telecommunications sectors. Throughout his career, he has focused on developing teams, improving performance and delivering high standards of customer service.

Most recently, Rob helped scale a new department within a regional full-fibre network operations business, supporting the implementation of process improvements, customer engagement initiatives and enhanced performance reporting.

Commenting on his appointment, Rob said:

“I’ve always enjoyed developing people, driving positive change and ensuring customers remain at the heart of the business. Successful businesses are built around their people and the service they deliver to clients.”

Rob was attracted to Knightsbridge by both the company’s reputation and its client-focused approach.

“It’s clear to see why Knightsbridge has established such a strong reputation within its sector,” he said.

“Speaking with Managing Director Victoria Hughes and Operations Director Matt Clancy, it was obvious that their values closely aligned with my own. I saw a real opportunity to apply my experience within the Operations team and support the business as it continues to grow.”

Over the coming months, Rob will focus on strengthening internal processes, supporting the wider team and helping ensure clients continue to receive a high level of service throughout the transaction.

“In most cases, building a business will have been one of the most important achievements in our clients’ lives,” Rob added.

“They need to know that the sale of that business is being handled with care, professionalism and attention to detail. Strong communication and consistent support throughout are essential.”

Looking at the wider market, Rob believes there remain strong opportunities for business owners considering a sale despite recent economic volatility.

“We’re continuing to see strong levels of activity across the UK SME M&A market, with excellent results being achieved across a range of sectors,” he said.

“There are still significant opportunities for owners looking to sell well-performing businesses in the current market.”

Everyone at Knightsbridge would like to wish Rob the very best in his new role, and we look forward to seeing the impact he makes as the business continues to grow.
